It's been a wild ride so far for the celebs taking part in Dancing with the Stars 2012. Although a clear weak link remains in legendary singer Gladys Knight, it's Motown Week, so her elimination at the close of tonight's week 6 results show seems decidedly unlikely. So who will get the axe? Chances are good that Disney star Roshon Fegan may well be in very big trouble. Why?
For starters, Roshon and partner Chelsie Hightower are one of only two couples who've felt the brutal heat of the red lights. (The other? Actor Jaleel White and Kym Johnson.) Their former presence in the bottom two--especially given that it came during week 4, when their dance placed them just a single point behind the night's leaderboard toppers Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd--suggests a less-than-solid fan base at work in their favor.
Also not aiding in their efforts to remain in the DWTS competition were their performance last night. Their individual Rumba wound up being the evening's second-lowest scoring dance (behind Gladys and partner Tristan MacManus' offering). They didn't do much better during the Motown Marathon Cha Cha Cha, either, and ended the night with only 28 points total. They trail leaders Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas by a whopping 11 points.
Is it curtains-time for Roshon Fegan? It sure seems like it, but tune in to tonight's Dancing with the Stars 2012 week 6 results show to find out if he does indeed wind up in the bottom two.
