The Vampire Diaries season 3 continues this week with the Decade Dance in episode 20, "Do Not Go Gentle." Bonnie will be attending the dance with Jamie, but she's not going to just be having fun on the dance floor.

Julie Plec told TVLine, Bonnie "gets to get gorgeous and have a date, which seems like it should be awesome and is briefly a really nice time for her. But then, unfortunately, as things tend to at the Decade Dances, the date gets disrupted and her date, Jamie, gets to see the other side of her life, which is how she saves the day." As previews and photos have shown, they're going to get to have some fun at the dance, including on the dance floor, and it'll be good to see Bonnie have that. However, as those previews have also shown, at some point during the night, Klaus is going to get his hand around Jamie's neck. That's not how you want a date to go.
The Vampire Diaries season 3 episode 20 spoilers have also revealed that Bonnie will be working on undoing a spell at this dance, and Stefan and Damon are going to enlist not only her help, but Matt and Jeremy's as well. With that shot in the promo of Jamie's life in Klaus' hands, you can't help but wonder if he could end up dying in this episode. Will Bonnie's date end tragically as her love life has been in the past, or will she be able to stop Klaus from hurting him? Could that just be one of Klaus' threats to try to get Bonnie to do what he wants?
