Glee season 3 saw two couples get engaged, but neither wedding has happened yet. Will did want to get married in time for the seniors to attend and even started making some ridiculous wedding plans, but will it happen?
Season 3 Spoilers
Matthew Morrison revealed to E! Online, "We're definitely not getting married this season." That's not too surprising. After all, there is already a lot coming up in the remaining episodes, and nothing that Will could come up with was going to work with the time frame they had. He was just worried that the kids wouldn't come back for the wedding, which Emma tried to reassure him about.
With graduation coming up, the show is going to have to wrap up some storylines for the students. There will be plenty of time for them to focus on Will and Emma next season (since it doesn't seem like they've made plans to leave McKinley behind at the end of the year), and as E! Online suggests, this could mean "a mini New Directions reunion." Morrison did say "that would be just so cool," saying he thinks "it would be one of those episodes that all the kids would come back for." Will that end up being how they do it?
It's still not clear just what will be happening for these students after graduation—especially for Rachel after she choked in "Choke"—and there are some seniors (like Puck and Brittany) who may not be graduating. Anything can happen as plans are finalized for next year. The characters could end up anywhere. Will Emma and Will's wedding be part of those future plans? Will everyone return home for the wedding if they've left it behind?
What do you think of the latest Glee season 3 spoilers? Are you at all surprised the Will-Emma wedding is not happening this season?
