Dancing with the Stars 2012 resumes May 7 with more performances by the six remaining celebrity/professional couples. So what's on tap for crowd favorite telenovela star William Levy?
During the ballroom round, the so-called Mexican Brad Pitt and two-time DWTS pro champ Cheryl Burke will deliver a sophisticated Foxtrot. Expect elegance and good form from the actor, who impressed with his Classical Week Viennese Waltz and enters week 8 with a rock-solid cumulative season score of 208 points.
William and Cheryl's second routine of the night will be a Trio Challenge Paso Doble, featuring the pair as well as an eliminated pro of their choosing. Although the third dancer's identity has yet to be confirmed, Tony Dovolani, who partnered tennis pro Martina Navratilova this season, seems a likely fit. He and Cheryl often perform together, and in an amusing coincidence, the two worked together to choreograph the Latin dance performed by Buzz Lightyear and Jessie in Toy Story 3.
If William is on top of his game, he could very likely find himself unseating TV personality Maria Menounos from her current position atop the leaderboard. He has the carriage and grace to pull off a great Foxtrot, and he also has the power needed to dominate the Paso Doble. On top of that, his partner has his back; Cheryl tweeted to followers May 4 that "Foxtrot and Paso is really coming along!! 2 dances to learn is tough but William is doing a great job and working harder than ever."
But will it happen, or will William Levy be in trouble come Tuesday night's dreaded double elimination? Watch the Dancing with the Stars 2012 week 8 performance show on ABC to see how things pan out for the sexy celeb.
