Supernatural season 7 comes to an end this week with episode 23, "Survival of the Fittest," and Sam and Dean are going to have one shot to kill Dick. Will they be able to? Will a vengeful Bobby ruin their plans?
SPN Season 7 Episode 23 "Survival of the Fittest" Sneak Peek
Sam and Dean are going to need all the help they can get to take down Dick Roman, and that means teaming up with quite the interesting group of people. The promo out already shows that Castiel, Meg, and Crowley will be doing something to help them out as they prepare to go into SucroCorp and confront Dick, but now there's a clip out showing what happens when you get everyone in the same room.
In the Supernatural season 7 episode 23 sneak peek from the finale "Survival of the Fittest" (below), Castiel's still not all there. He does provide some vital information along the way, but it's accompanied by some very strange lines. As the clip shows, they've gotten a bone—a "good choice," according to Castiel—and the last episode, "There Will Be Blood," showed them getting Alpha's blood. All that's left is Crowley's, but as episode 22 showed at the end, he may be a little held up in a meeting with Dick.
Meanwhile, they do have Meg hanging around with them, and when Dean asks Castiel why he went to her, the angel explains: "I wanted to observe the flowers and fruit—flowers come first obviously—but I heard nothing from them." "Them" is the garrison. He went to Kevin's house and explains his father locked the Leviathans in purgatory because "they're the piranha that would eat the whole aquarium." They can kill angels, and the entire garrison is likely dead. But what happened to Kevin? After Castiel's "I could steal them from their cages, the monkeys, but where would I put them all?" and Dean getting him to focus, the angel says he's alive. Oh, Castiel, you may be crazy, but it's hard not to enjoy these crazy lines.
When Meg realizes they summoned Crowley (and even though he's not there), she says she's laving since "he could still..." "...show up at any time," Crowley finishes. He's sorry he's late. The conversation that comes next could easily make for one of the best scenes of the episode. After all, you have Crowley (you can never trust him and Mark Sheppard is always so good in the role), Meg (who has been trying to stay clear of Crowley and says that they always need to watch out for him), and crazy Castiel (that one goes without saying) in the same room.
