What if your whole life was a lie?
Hasn't everyone asked themselves that question at one time or another in life? That's the question that Talisman of El poses. 14-year-old Charlie Blake has always known he was different, but he never really knew just how different he really was until he discovered Arcadia. He dreamt of things and places he couldn't have known of. He heard voices that others couldn't hear. He saw things that others couldn't see. All were clues about who he really was, but he didn't understand until he met Derkein, a 27-year-old man who looked like he was a much older man. Why does meeting Derkein open Charlie's eyes? Well, Charlie had dreamt about Derkein's death.
Charlie, Derkein and two of Charlie's friends end up finding the gateway to a world that had only been speculated about by Derkein's father. This world is Arcadia and they quickly realize that Charlie is their King. Charlie doesn't even know that he's King Sol reincarnated, but throughout the story, it becomes clear that Charlie is who they think he is and that he is the only one who can save the world, both worlds really, from destruction.
Talisman of El is the first in a planned trilogy by Alecia Stone and Centrinian Publishing and is her first novel over all. This new author has a real chance of becoming a bestseller with the unique perspective she has put into her world. When the book hits store shelves on May 20th, Talisman of El will give you a lot to think about when it comes to gods, angels and other worldly creatures. It was a definite pleasure to write a book review for the start of a new, potentially great trilogy.
