Dancing with the Stars 2012 came to an exciting close on May 22 with the crowning of Green Bay Packers star Donald Driver as the new Mirrorball champion. But the two-hour results show wasn't all about Donald and fellow finalists Katherine Jenkins and William Levy. One of the evening's biggest highlights involved the return of TV host Sherri Shepherd, whose bright smile and enthusiasm were missed following her surprisingly premature elimination on April 10.
The bubbly Sherri was thrilled to return to the ballroom, and was even more thrilled to be dancing with a slew of attractive male pros, including, among others, Tony Dovolani and brothers Val and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
The group's "It's Raining Men" number was light, airy and lots of fun. And best of all, Sherri looked relaxed and really happy about her position as the lone lady among a sea of gents. It did, as Sherri quipped during a recent visit to "Good Morning America," feature "all 'Fifty Shades of Grey' on the dance floor," and it was a very fitting bookend to her time on the hit reality show.
Dancing with the Stars 2012 returns this Fall with an All-Star edition. Could Sherri Shepherd be in the mix? Keep watching for details as they emerge.
