Revenge dropped a bombshell of a shocker in the final moments of season one, and it will definitely shape what is to come in season two. The mother of Amanda Clarke being alive is a big deal, but there is an even bigger deal to the story—the impact her being alive will have on Amanda, also known as Emily Thorne. Where has her mother been for the last twenty years?
Mike Kelley dished more about the upcoming season. He shared some details about Nolan's future in season two, and now it is time to find out about the mommy bombshell. There is a lot of psychological drama ahead apparently. Kelley teased the following, according to Wet Paint:
"What you're going to discover about the woman who was Emily's mother is the circumstances under which they were separated and you're going to find that there's some deep psychological issues with her, which I think is going to be fun for us to explore. For Emily, she's going to start seeing some of the psychological damage that her mother has in herself. So she's going to start doing a lot of soul-searching about who she is."
Amanda will then be forced to decide whether or not she even wants this woman in her life. Has Mrs. Clarke been locked away in some mental hospital for the last twenty years? Did David Clarke know his life was still alive? Or did this huge conspiracy steal both of Amanda's parents from her? These are just some of the questions fans will have to wonder about over the summer.
Season two of Revenge is setting itself up to be just as excitement filled as its first season. Are you ready to find out more about Mrs. Clarke?
