Beyonce's body has already bounced right back after giving birth to Blue Ivy. So now that her pregnancy weight is gone, the singer is already getting back to work.
Her performance at the Revel Resort and Casino in Atlantic City was her first since giving birth, and she definitely found a way to make it a memorable show—she paid tribute to the late, great Whitney Houston by taking on her vocally challenging song "I Will Always Love You."
The "Single Ladies" singer showed that she's trying to resurrect Sasha Fierce by wearing a fierce red bodysuit with lots of cutouts. However, while she looked sexy, her singing was extremely soulful and moving—she actually did a pretty incredible job with Whitney Houston's most beloved song before transitioning into her tune "Halo."
There's been a lot of talk about who should be cast in a movie based on Whitney's life. Some names being thrown around for the biopic include Rihanna, Jordin Sparks, and even Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina. However, Beyonce would actually be an excellent choice if the movie focused on a slightly older Whitney—her Whitney Houston tribute was just as powerful as Jennifer Hudson's was at the Grammys. But of course Bey would really have to work on hard on transforming her body since Whitney was so slender.
And if she doesn't get to play Whitney herself, perhaps Bey could star in remake of The Bodyguard—last year there were reports that Whitney's famous romance was getting a reboot. However, she might not be interested in doing another remake about being a star since she's already been cast in Clint Eastwood's A Star is Born.
