On this week's Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the Jenner and Kardashian kids have a lot on their plates and their parents are there for them. Well, kind of.
Particularly in need is Brandon Jenner, Bruce's son from his previous marriage. He's not been in the small screen picture on this show very much because his dad has not spent much time with Brandon in recent years. Still, Bruce seems genuine in wanting to make up for lost time.
So, on KUWTK, Bruce and Brandon go to the racetrack to be in each other's company and during that time, dad decides to jump in and help with his son's fledgling singing career.
First stop for Bruce in the helping department is to approach Kris Jenner since she is one of the Kardashians who has a music connection (yes, Kim apparently does too, but that's for another day). In any case, Kris was not at all into the idea of helping Brandon, and she made a ton of excuses why she just can't assist in her husband's quest.
In an act of defense (OK, she was defensive), Kris asks Bruce why he is getting involved in Brandon's business. Huh? This is a woman who is in everyone's business, but first and foremost in the kids' business.
At that point, and after her excuses run out (she also says she's just too busy to help Brandon), Kris admits she doesn't want to work with family. It's not good business. Huh? Isn't that what she does? Isn't that just about all she does?
Well, too bad for Kris because Bruce is not going to let a little thing like his wife saying "no" get in the way. Instead, he simply crashes a meeting Kris is having with Babyface and ends up showing a video of Brandon singing. Happily, that ploy worked. Not only did Babyface become intrigued but Kris really liked Brandon's work.
And then another twist in this storyline on Keeping Up with the Kardashians: This Jenner kid doesn't want his step-mother as his manager. She can do that with the other kids, but not with Brandon.
And so, as Keeping Up with the Kardashians shows up on the small screen for season 7, Kris Jenner does not hook up with Brandon Jenner as his music manager on episode 4. Do you think he made the right move? Please weigh in.
