Who knew? Cheryl Burke wants to follow in Emily Maynard's footsteps as the next single woman looking for a spouse on The Bachelorette.
That's right. This very versatile contender reportedly feels like she needs some help in finding the right guy with whom to spend her life.
Indeed, according to People, Cheryl Burke knows she is lucky (and skilled) when it comes to winning dance competitions (she's been number one twice on DWTS) but she's not so lucky in love. Because of this, the professional hoofer who appears on ABC in one reality show wants to be appear on another.
Apparently, the 28-year-old told the weekly magazine on Wednesday during the 2012 NHL Awards at Wynn Las Vegas, "My dating record hasn't been great the past couple of years so if I have a chance to go on [The Bachelorette] I will."
Then she added, "I'm getting old, you know, so it's something of interest to me."
While not yet 30, many women feel like Cheryl does because their biological clocks are ticking, and so falling in love and having children becomes more important to some females in Burke's age range.
Still, is this beauty barking up the wrong reality show tree?
After all, among all the shows that are part of the Bachelor franchise, including The Bachelorette, there have been very few true love matches that end in exchanging nuptials, having children, and living happily ever after.
So, with that said, will DWTS's Cheryl Burke do well if she goes on ABC after Emily Maynard finishes her quest to appear on The Bachelorette? What do you think? Please weigh in.
