Season 3 Episode 6 "Coming Home" Promo
"Oliver Shaw's teenage daughter, Izzy, witnesses the brutal stabbing of a homeless squatter; when Izzy goes missing, officers rush to track her down."
After the last episode, "Messy Houses," introduced Claire McNally, Andy's mother who left but wants to be part of her daughter's life, and she's going to be around for the next one as well. Andy's still going to have to deal with having her mother around and figuring out how she feels about that and how much she wants to see her. The previous episode also showed Oliver telling Dov about his home life, which is in a poor state at the moment. However, it's going to end up in the middle of an investigation next week, meaning things could end up changing—for better or worse.
The Rookie Blue season 3 episode 6 promo for "Coming Home" (below) shows that Sam's been looking into Claire because as he puts it to Andy, "You wanted me to get to know her." That's not the way Andy meant, but you do have to wonder how this storyline will go. It looks like they're both going to be trying, but with their history, will things go poorly? Will it just be too tough for them to put the past in the past and try to build a relationship?
Meanwhile, Dov's storyline involving the sister of the guy he shot will continue. He tells her he has to leave her alone, but Crystal says he forced himself into her life and killed her brother. Uh-oh, what's going to happen there? What will this mean for Dov and Sue's relationship?
Finally, there's the case of the episode involving Izzy, Oliver's daughter. When the police shut down a party, she makes a run for it then tells her "Uncle Sammy" that Oliver can't know she was there. He finds out, of course, and she wants to know why he cares. Things are tense for the Shaws. It's going to get worse, as the guy who was stabbed says a girl matching Izzy's description was there. What has Izzy been up to since Oliver left? How much trouble has she gotten into? How serious is it? How far is Oliver going to go when she goes missing, as per the episode description? He busts into a guy's apartment and holds a gun to him at the end of the promo. Does he know what happened to Izzy?
