More sources have come forward to talk about The Bachelorette 2012 star, Emily Maynard.
According to a new report out on the Christian Post, Maynard was said to demand $750,000 originally to be ABC's lead for the 2012 season. Unable to get the amount she allegedly wanted, an insider said she was paid $150,000.
Throughout the season, web sites have widely reported that she was paid $250,000. It's no surprise or shock to read articles that refer to the 26-year-old single mom as only out for fame. Speculations that she wants a television career in broadcasting have been suspected. The Bachelorette 2012 would be the perfect platform to launch a career.
A source close to the NASCAR community said, "Emily has let her fame go to her head."
The insider added that Emily is "exploiting herself and her family for fame." Not only that, but this person said "the rest of America is buying into her Hollywood story."
Emily Maynard is a controversial figure as The Bachelorette because there are those who feel she's on the show for the wrong reasons and those who think she's not putting her daughter, Ricki, first by appearing on TV.
The amount Emily was really paid isn't entirely known, but Bachelor blogger Reality Steve said she paid $250,000 to be on The Bachelorette 2012.
It seems to depend on who you want to believe.
