Chris Harrison typically keeps his opinions to himself regarding the contestants of the shows that he hosts but lately, he's been more forthcoming about what he really thinks of them. Just last week, he let loose at The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All when he interviewed controversial contestants Kalon McMahon and Ryan Bowers. Now, he's shared what he thinks of the some of the Bachelor Pad season 3, which premieres Monday night, contestants as well as what viewers can expect.
"Kalon reminds me in a way of Erica Rose. He thinks what he's saying is wise and he thinks he's kind of helping his own cause, but he doesn't realize he's only making things worse," he told RumorFix of Kalon McMahon, the man who dared to refer to Emily Maynard's daughter as "baggage" on The Bachelorette. Clearly, Chris Harrison thinks that Kalon McMahon, who arrives to the competition in a Porsche, is nowhere near the caliber of Bachelorette finalists Arie Luyendyk, Jr. and Jef Holm.
Two contestants that fans of Bachelor Pad will already know well right off the bat is Erica Rose and Michael Stagliano, both of whom competed in season 2 of the show.
"She is such a great character. She is the person that turns the heat under the pot and doesn't realize she's in the middle of it. She is great TV. She is a lot more savvy than people give her credit for," he said of Erica Rose.
As to Michael Stagliano, who is a fan favorite, Chris Harrison thinks that "he is definitely savvy" and "smart at playing the game." "He was a bit of a celebrity when he walked in the house and he was treated as such," he continued.
It's always fun to watch this show, where the contestants aren't afraid to show that they just want easy hookups, money and fame, after the more serious Bachelorette and Bachelor. Even the previews show that Chris Bukowski, who was so serious while competing for Emily Maynard's hand that it was a bit scary, lets loose and just has fun.
