Fringe will be airing its final season this fall on Fox, and the cast and executive producer J.H. Wyman were at Comic-Con to preview it. Gather.com was in the press room to find out what they could reveal about what's coming up.
In the video below, Wyman says he "wanted to design a love letter to the fans." With these final 13 episodes, he has the chance to explore what he wants to before saying goodbye. He also talks about approaching the end and knowing he has that end in sight. Wyman also talks about what's coming up for these characters emotionally.
Wyman also says that Fringe season 5 doesn't involve the universes coming together. It's about the characters. Some definite good news is that he says, "I'm not gonna leave it open-ended." There will be an ending to the show, which should make fans happy. The worst thing is to end a show and leave you wondering just what happens next, and the Fox drama isn't going to be one of those shows that does that. Check out the video below for more from Wyman, including which episode was "an experiment," how he describes the government in the future with the Observers in charge, and more.
Will you be tuning in to Fringe season 5 in the fall?
