Fans of Hawaii Five-O and its stars, Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan, certainly seem destined for a charmed third season of the hit police drama. O'Loughlin and his newly cast on-screen mother, Christine Lahti attended a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony, organized and attended by the show and the creative staff behind the scenes, to start the season off for divine destination. O'Loughlin is fit and healthy as ever, ready to return to the rigors of being the ever ready for adventure, and whatever the criminal element throws in the path of his persona, Steve McGarrett, following his release from a brief rehab stay, and he and co-star, Scott Caan, have no problem sharing what their intentions are to ensure success in a third season. It's as easy as 1-2-3!
The best looking, best-bantering buddy cops in prime time dropped by Extra TV to share their formula for success beyond the lucky number three in their production pocket. Looking already tanned and fit from the tropical sun, Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan smiled playfully as they shared the formula that keeps fans tuning in faithfully week after week, and keeps perpetrators on the island on alert, "First, we know there's a bad guy," Caan wryly relates. "We find the bad guy," O'Loughlin and Caan recite in near unison. Lastly, O'Loughlin reveals, "We prove to everybody how smart we are when we catch the bad guy," his partner in crime fighting nodding in agreement. Michael Weatherly of NCIS spoke in the same segment that slaps from Mark Harmon help the morale on his show, and the subject of a NCIS/Hawaii Five-O collaboration, similar to that in Season 2, didn't come up, but no doubt, the stars and their loyal viewers are ready for anything. They are the men with a plan for pleasing fans and capturing perps for seasons to come!
