John Legend obviously loves television after working on Duets as he has signed on to further his career in the television world. On Tuesday, it was announced that the artist will be working with Universal Cable Productions in a development stage for the company.
The opportunity is entirely different from singing and allows Legend a creative part as he works to make new television shows and internet podcasts. The growing field of television development has definitely attracted attention of artists as it is a creative place that puts the ideas in motion.
Under the arrangement, the singer along with his partners that formed the Get Lifted Film Co., will be able to work hand in hand to develop a series for cable and broadcast networks. While the projects could be a scripted shows, it's also possible a reality series could be developed under this type of arrangement.
John Legend obviously loved the response he received from Duets to continue working in the field of television and the fans are delighted he decided to put more time in creating programs as he definitely is very artistic.
