Yes, Criminal Minds season 8 is going to feature one big change for the team, with Paget Brewster's Emily Prentiss gone and Jeanne Tripplehorn's Alex Blake the new profiler, but some things will obviously remain the same, and that's the BAU going after profilers.
CM Season 8 Episode 3 Spoilers and Title
According to TVLine, Josh Stamberg will be guest starring in episode 3 of the new season, "Through the Looking Glass," and he'll be playing a father whose family was taken. Previously released spoilers about this episode revealed that the unsub "kidnaps families with the intention of making them admit to and pay for their indiscretions." So why did this unsub take Stamberg's character's family and not him in this Criminal Minds season 8 episode? Is it to make him pay for some reason? Is he supposed to suffer through the loss of his family because of something he did?
The CBS procedural drama has dealt with an unsub who focuses on a person's sins after kidnapping them (the two-part season 2 "The Big Game" and "Revelations"), but what has led this unsub to do this? Who hurt him in his past and how does it connect to the father of this family being left behind? How does the title fit into the plotline of the episode? Will the father be able to see what's happening to his family?
