Fifty Shades of Grey is apparently quite popular among lesbians, or so says Roseanne Barr. She talked about the book during the recording of her Comedy Central Roast, which airs on August 12th.
According to a report from Celebuzz, Roseanne was quite outspoken about the erotic book trilogy. Of course one must bear in mind she's not necessarily a person that typically comes to mind when people think eroticism, so take anything she proffers with a grain of salt.
"I know all the lesbians love it," she says of the book during the roast. "My sister-in-law loves it. She gave it to me. I haven't had time to get into it."
Roseanne Barr's ex-husband Tom Arnold even shows up, giving a rather moving tribute during the roast. And while he never mentions E.L. James's new erotic best-seller, it's clear the book might have proved useful to the couple a few decades ago.
So what's your take on Roseanne's Fifty Shades of Grey comment? Do you think lesbian couples find it even more intriguing than heterosexual couples?
