Fans waiting for Iron Man 3 spoilers, or footage at least, to hit the internet may be in luck. The latest Iron Man's movie trailer description has apparently leaked online, leaving some to believe the actual trailer video will soon be online as well.
The latest Iron Man movie spoilers arrive from Ain't It Cool News via ComicBookMovie website. The site reports that a "possible description" for the third installment of the Marvel superhero series has potentially been leaked. Their description seen at the Comic Book website talks of "a somber trailer, dark and humorless, which seemed more in tone with The Dark Knight Rises than with any of the other Iron Man movies or the Avengers."
In the description, Tony Stark has apparently had enough of the whole superhero gig and fighting crime. There are scenes supposedly of him laying in the rubble, and taking off his faceplate to reveal a bloodied-up Stark. Other scenes show him arguing with Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and his home being blown to bits, sending Tony and Pepper into the sea. The final shots show Stark swimming underwater towards his "heart reactor," before the new logo is shown. The final part has Tony walking through the snow dragging a large bag with him, followed by the logo, seen in the video below.
Not mentioned above, but also present in the description is talk of Mandarin, the newest villain for Iron Man to battle, as well as Don Cheadle, who plays War Machine. So in all, it sounds like quite a cast and has potential to stir up as much hype as The Dark Knight Rises, based on the more gritty, and somber plot it sounds like it has. The new movie should arrive within the next year, with Robert Downey Jr. reprising his role as Iron Man, before he returns to The Avengers 2 in 2015.
