The CW has begun promoting its new series, Arrow, Beauty and the Beast, and Emily Owens, M.D., which will all be premiering mid-October of the upcoming Fall season.
Key Art for new CW Series
As part of the 2102 Fall Launch campaign, new key art for Arrow, Beauty and the Beast, and Emily Owens, M.D. have been released (below) to gear up viewers for their premieres.
The first series to premiere will be Arrow, on Wednesday, October 10 at 8 p.m. before the second episode of Supernatural season 8, and the key art features a shirtless, scarred Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen with the tagline, "Destiny Leaves Its Mark." Of course, he has a quiver on his back, and arrows can be seen surrounding him. What else would you expect? Will airing before Supernatural help it bring in viewers? Will it bring in those who have missed seeing a superhero show each week on the network?

The following night, Beauty and the Beast will be premiering at 9 p.m. following The Vampire Diaries season 4 premiere. It's the series that's bringing Kristin Kreuk (Smallville) back to the CW with Jay Ryan, both pictured in the key art with the tagline, "How Brave Is Your Love?" Will premiering after The Vampire Diaries and with Kreuk part of its cast help it bring in viewers in the time slot that The Secret Circle had last season?

Finally, Emily Owens, M.D., starring Mamie Gummer as the title character, will be premiering on October 16 at 9 p.m. following Hart of Dixie, and the key art for the series is fitting of the medical series: Emily holding an X-ray with the tagline, "Practicing Medicine. Working on Life." Speaking of Smallville alums (and former Oliver Queens), Justin Hartley will be in this series. It looks cute, but how will it do in the time slot that Ringer failed in last year?

Will you be tuning in to these new shows on the CW?
