Adam Lambert's New Single Announcement Still...

Adam Lambert gave an update on Twitter on Saturday about the status of his next single and it is not good news. Unfortunately, the announcement about his third single off Trespassing has once again been delayed. He tweeted a response to a fan, "single announcement got held up by some record label logistics. Whats new?! I'm pushin' trust me. Cover looks FLY though."

By now, Adam's fans have learned that good things come to those who wait. Of course, waiting proves to be very difficult. The good news is that some people are already rallying the troops for when the single does drop. In an effort to ensure radio play, Adam Storm Trespassing is organizing for a mass buying of the song on iTunes. They state, "Ranking at iTun

es is one essential measure that Radio uses to develop their Playlists... High ranking at iTunes = Radio play = Charting high at Billboard = Smash Hit = Buzz = Sales = Award Shows = More Sales! It's an upward spiral!" Therefore, they will create a PayPal account for International fans and U.S. fans that do not have an iTunes Account to contribute to the sales on U.S. iTunes. Adam's fans have had success in the past in getting him high on charts after his releases, so this time should be no different.

Adam just wrapped up a promotional stint in Japan that included performances at 2012 Summer Sonic. He will now head to Australia to further promote his new music. Hopefully the next single announcement will come soon. When it does, are you ready to help Adam take the song to the top of the charts?

Yes ready to buy new single and gift to those who don't have itunes account. I think the delay for single announcement is more a PR move and will probably coincide w/ other announcements when Adam returns to the US end of month. His team wants ultimate promo and exposure so timing is important.

The Glamily or Glarmy has to provide a global effort this time. Never Close Our Eyes did not do well on the radio and I live in a city in Canada of 1.5 million people and we have several top pop 40 stations each of which follow U.S. charts closely. What is it going to take to get the DJs' attention and send the new single up the Billboard chart?

I live in Winnipeg, Canada and I plan to donate to Adam Storm Trespassing to allow US Glamberts to purchase the new single on I tunes. I also plan on buying the single from the Canadian I tunes as well.

Adam has so many Glamberts out there and every one of them has to buy the single even those who have I tunes accounts in the US already. They are also the ones who need to donate to the cause for those who don't have I tunes accounts in the US. Even if you have the Trespassing cd or have bought multiple copies of the cd like I have we all need to buy the new single from the US I tunes to chart it high for radio play! This is more than likely our last chance as if this single doesn't do well I can't see them releasing a 4th single!

Spread the word about the Adam Storm Trespassing campaign to everyone you know. Together we can do this! By the way Trudy what Canadian city do you live in?

I'm gearing up to join the Adam Storm. The DJs love Adam and the Trespassing album. It's the conservative station owners and program directors that are seeming to blacklist him. The Canadian fans rock and have supported him. I'm so disappointed in the US conglomerates ignoring our many requests and playing the same insipid music non stop. We vote our fingers off on every poll, request and buy the albums. It's become a full time job, but we know Adam is so deserving and is the most exciting talent since Michael Jackson. We won't let him down. Thankyou Renee for always being there for him too. He's an amazing gift that keeps on giving.

I'll do my part but I have little faith in the music industry. I can't believe I can call radio stations I have supported for years, knowing that Adam's label has paid money to promote a single, and they refuse to play it. It's not even on their playlist. And there's nothing we can do? I don't listen to radio now, I'll do Pandora, but that's not my first choice. I just want one of my songs played once in a while. I am more frustrated for other artists I like as well. When Carrie or Kelly are on TV or my daughter's radio, I turn it off or walk out of the room.
