Revenge's first season didn't just end with Victoria possibly dead. Her daughter, Charlotte, took enough pills to OD and when Conrad found her, it didn't look good. However, it doesn't look like the ABC drama is going to be saying goodbye to Charlotte anytime soon.
Season 2 Spoilers
According to TVLine, Christa B. Allen has said, "If you OD, it doesn't necessarily mean death, so the pills definitely did have their effect - in more ways than one. Anyone who's seen that side of life, almost dying, comes out the other side of it reformed." Does that mean there will be a different Charlotte in season 2? Allen does know what she wants to see: "I feel like Charlotte was whipped around so much last season, it's the perfect set up for her to plant her feet, dig her heels in and maybe get revenge of her own now!" But is that what will happen in Revenge season 2?
Could Charlotte decide to look more into the past and end up helping Emily with her plan? Will Charlotte find out who Emily really is? That seems like something that has to happen eventually, but will it be something they hold off on showing until perhaps later on in the season or even waiting another year to bring to the table? Emily is going to have her hands full this season, and Charlotte could be an ally who could help—or someone who could end up meaning trouble, given her past. Is Charlotte someone who can even be trusted? Even if she is "reformed" in season 2, there's always the possibility she could relapse. Whatever does happen, it sounds like Charlotte is going to be a character to keep an eye on and track in the new season.
