Glamberts might want to head south this winter because Adam Lambert has just been named among the line-up of artists to perform at a concert in Dallas, Texas in October. Dallas/Ft Worth Texas radio station 102.9 Now has just announced their "Texas Tango" concert and there is a lot of great talent planned. The event, which they dub the "Biggest Fall concert event for DFW," will take place on October 29 at the Verizon Center.
Other artists at Texas Tango will include Alanis Morissette, Gavin DeGraw, and "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips. Most of them will be heading out west soon after for another concert. Adam, Alanis and Gavin will be all be performing later the same week at the exclusive Live In The Vineyard event in Napa, California.
Texans are getting a lot of Adam Lambert love this year. Adam was in the Lone Star State not long ago to promote his Trespassing album when it released earlier this year, appearing at several radio stations. In March he did several intimate acoustic radio station performances, including one at the 102.9 Mazda Music Lounge. He also headlined a concert in Texas last month at Six Flags San Antonio.
Texas Tango will be at Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie and tickets go on sale September 7 at 10 am via AXS.com. Will you be there?
