The 50 Shades of Grey movie casting rumors have died down now that E. L. James responded to them by saying that they're all false, so Fifty fans can continue to fantasize about the actor they dream of playing Christian Grey.
PolicyMic decided to rev these fantasies up a notch by posting sexy photos of Fifty favorite Henry Cavill along with Christian quotes from the book. So fans can read the lines and decide if they think that Henry is the right guy to deliver them.
Henry joined Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder as a favorite for the movie because of an old Dunhill fragrance ad in which he plays a Christian-esque character who goes on a helicopter ride. So could he take to the sky again in Charlie Tango?
It would make sense for Henry Cavill to get cast in the 50 Shades of Grey movie since he's playing Superman in the upcoming movie Man of Steel. After all, Anastasia Steele describes Christian's you-know-what as "steel encased in velvet."
Just imagine what would happen if Superman was as kinky as Christian Grey; poor Lois Lane wouldn't live long since his spanking could send her shooting off into space.
Speaking of Anastasia Steele, she gets to utter some of the cheesiest lines in the book, but if he gets the role, Henry will actually have to talk about cheese while keeping a straight face. Here's an example of Christian's deep thoughts:
"Why is anyone the way they are? That's kind of hard to answer. Why do some people like cheese and other people hate it? Do you like cheese?"
Can't you tell his character was created by the same woman who wrote the ridiculous lines for Ana's "inner goddess?"
Henry would also have to talk about vanilla sex, lip biting, palm twitching, and spanking. A lot of his lines are laughable, but he also gets to say romantic things like this:
"I lay awake for hours and watched you sleep ... I might have loved you even then."
"I want you and the thought of anyone else having you is like a knife twisting my soul."
And of course he'll have to sound super sexy while saying, "Laters, baby."
One of the biggest challenges for the actor that wins the role of Christian Grey could be this: He has to interrogate Ana about that time of the month. But what comes after his questions about bleeding and cramps is much worse.
So do you think that Henry can handle the harrowing job of playing Christian? And what Christian quotes do you want to see in the movie?
