Day five of "The Voice" blind auditions left Blake Shelton feeling lonely and unloved. The other coaches picked up vocalists, but Team Blake was left out in the cold as no one chose his team. Two of the artists Blake competed for had outstanding performances. Collin McLoughlin went to Team Adam and Joselyn Rivera to Team Christina.
No Love for Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton could not convince any of the vocalists to join his team despite grandiose efforts. His team remains at seven vocalists.
Collin McLoughlin gave an outstanding performance of Wild World. The artist fit well with Blake's style but McLoughlin chose Team Adam over Team Blake.
Joselyn Rivera is one of the many talented teens to compete this season. Her rendition of Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) brought the house down. She demonstrated great vocal range and control. Blake tried to convince her to join his team but she chose Team Christina.
Team Totals
All teams, except for Team Blake, are past the half-way point. The amount of talent this year is incredible. Coaches pass on many talented artists because they just don't have the right sound or song choice.
Christina Aguilera added one artist to the team, Joselyn Rivera, bringing her total to 10. Team Christina consists of seven women, two men and a husband and wife duo.
Adam Levine added Collin McLoughlin, and Benji to Team Adam. This brings his team total to 11. The team consists of a variety of artists, all very unique in style and voice.
Team Ceelo was the most popular of the coaches for part five of the blind auditions. Mycle Wastman, Emily Earle, Ben Taub and Todd Kessler bring Ceelo Green's team to 11.
"The Voice" blind auditions continue next Monday and Tuesday. Blake Sheldon is hoping to find love from the vocalists next week. The remaining coaches are getting tougher in their selections as space on their teams becomes limited.
