Despite displaying less-than-admirable behavior sometimes on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, there's no question that Teresa Giudice brings in the ratings, sells magazines and books, and has legions of fans. So can producers of the show really be considering replacing her? According to a show insider, yes.
Bravo wants to "shake up the series next season and get rid of Giudice," the show insider claims. "Although she creates all the drama, the other Housewives hate her and her storyline is getting stale — she holds on to the same grudges!" the source added.
Exactly what kind of woman can take her place? Producers are reportedly "looking for a new, mean Jersey girl to replace her."
Considering that all the housewives, particularly Caroline Manzo and Melissa Gorga, have had big issues with Teresa Giudice, they will probably be very relieved if she really doesn't return for the next season. It's hard to imagine The Real Housewives of New Jersey without her though. She's been there since day one and certainly fuels interest in the show. Whoever replaces her will definitely need to have a personality that's out of this world.
