Glee season 4 is pulling out all the stops. Get ready because the "Britney 2.0" episode airs tonight!
New kid on the block Jacob Artist, aka Puck's angry half-brother Jake, sat down with MTV to tell viewers what they can expect tonight, but you already have idea: It's going to be a-mazing!
But what are the specifics? According to Artist (what a cool last name, right?), the show will include "awesome dance numbers," a requirement for any performance of a Britney song, and stripped down acoustic numbers. The McKinley jock is looking forward to his performance of the night with new girl Melissa Benoist, aka Marley, aka the New Rachel, calling it "awesome" and "beautiful." Someone is feeling confident!
While he's got the voice, Artist does not have the moves. Those he leaves to Heather Morris. He calls the cheerleader's performance "crazy" and says that "She just gets better and better." For all of y'all bummed that the real Brit-Brit hasn't really cut a rug since her breakdown years ago, you'll have the other Britney to live through tonight.
What's the highlight of the Glee "Britney 2.0" episode? A performance of "Womanizer," says Jacob Artist, which he promises will go all over the place, literally, at the school. And who's the subject of the song? Well, it may not be a surprise to know that the ladies are singing about Jake. He really does take after his brother, doesn't he?
