Top Chef's headed to Seattle and the show is taking a new judge and lots of new talent with them. The favorite cooking show of many viewers will premiÃ¨re November 7th with Wolfgang Puck in tow. He's the newest judge to the join with Hugh Acheson, Tom Colicchio, Chef Emeril Lagasse, Padma Lakshmi and Gail Simmons.
This year, 21 people will vie for the coveted title along with the cash. They age in range from 27 to 54 and come from all areas of the country, including Hawaii.
The west coast has four contestants in Lizzie Binder (37), from Napa, California and Micah Fields (28), Brooke Williamson (33) and Kuniko Yagi (35) from Las Angeles, California.
The east coast has seven contestants. Tina Bourbeau (42) and Gina Keatley (32) hail from New York. Jeffrey Jew (34), Daniel O'Brien (32) and Bart Vandaele (41) all come from the nation's capitol. Boston, Massachusetts offers Stephanie Cmar (27) and Kristen Kish (28).
America's heartland has six contestants. Colorado offers Eliza Gavin (38), from Telluride, and Jorel Pierce (28) and Tyler Wiard (41) from Denver. From Dallas, Texas there's John Tesar (54) and Danyele McPherson (31). Oklahoma City, Oklahoma sends Joshua Valentine (32).
The south has just one contestant. That's Anthony Gray (35) from Macon, Georgia. The midwest presents Chrissy Camba (30), from Chicago.
Sin City Las Vegas sends Carla Pellegrino (43). The last contestant hails from Hawaii. He's Sheldon Simeon (30) from Lahaina.
It's an impressive lineup on both counts -- contestants and judges. It should make for a great season of Top Chef.
