Once Upon a Time season 2 premieres Sunday, September 30, with "Broken," which will see the aftermath of the curse being broken and magic coming to Storybrooke, but ABC has already released spoilers about episode 3, "Lady of the Lake."
OUaT Season 2 Episode 3 "Lady of the Lake" Official Description
"Emma and Mary Margaret, with the aid of Mulan, Aurora and brave knight Lancelot, attempt to find a portal that will bring them back to Storybrooke. But a dark force threatens their safe return. And Henry tries to talk Jefferson into reuniting with his daughter. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, on the eve of meeting Prince Charming's mother, King George poisons Snow White, and the only antidote lies within the waters of the Lady of the Lake."
The second episode, "We Are Both," is going to see David trying to find Mary Margaret and Emma, but he's obviously not going to have much luck since they're still in fairytale land in Once Upon a Time season 2 episode 3. Will they get home safely in this episode, or will another one pass with the Charming family once again separated? It seems like the latter could be true with "a dark force" threatening their attempt to get home. What (or who) is that "dark force"? With Emma and Mary in trouble together, will this give them a chance to talk about everything? Will they be closer once they get home? Meanwhile, it's going to likely fall on David to look after his grandson at some point, but with him looking for his wife and daughter, will someone else step in to look after Henry?
Henry is going to be busy himself, and this episode should be a good one if only for Sebastian Stan as Jefferson. Now that everyone knows who they are, what's holding him back from reuniting with his daughter? Will they get a happy ending this episode? Will the episode end with multiple family reunions?
There's more to come from Aurora, Mulan, and Lancelot in this episode, and it's already been teased that Snow White has a past with Lancelot. Will Emma find out about that during their time in fairytale land? Will Mary ask her to keep it secret from David when they return, or will this be something that could mean more drama in their relationship? Secrets are never a good thing, but could it turn out that Charming already has some idea about what's going on?
Finally, there's the matter of Snow White being poisoned "back in the fairytale land that was." It's good to see that they haven't forgotten about what was even with the new stories to come in the present with the curse broken and magic in Storybrooke.
