Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne showed off some of their best dance moves on the Alan Carr Chatty Man Show. So was One Direction good enough to win a dance-off against a group of Alan Carr clones?
The British boy band and their rivals, The Wanted, often get criticized for their lack of choreographed dance routines, and fangirls of the '90s claim that the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC are superior groups because of their smooth dance moves. So Alan gave the guys a chance to prove that they can dance just as well as their predecessors.
One Direction did their best with a few silly arm movements that would probably impress "Gangnam Style" singer Psy, and they threw in a few hip-thrusts to drive Directioners wild. However, their moves couldn't beat the fancy footwork of Alan's group of lookalike dancers, and judge Jessie J named Alan's team the winners. She definitely made the right decision—even Psy would criticize the guys of 1D for not moving their feet enough. But Niall Horan did get revenge in the end by punching Alan in the face.
1D's interview was slightly more entertaining than their dance-off. Harry Styles talked about Natalie Imbruglia, saying that there's nothing going on between him and the "Torn" singer—they just met at a wedding and shared a drink together. Hazza was also careful not to get caught on camera asking Jessie J for her number.
During the interview, Louis Tomlinson also assures Directioners that he's not actually going deaf because of their screaming—he's just paranoid. And maybe he has strained his ears from trying to decipher Hazza's mumbling on a daily basis.
But according to Louis, fans have an interesting way of trying to make up for all of their annoying screaming—they flashing their breasts. He told Alan about the time that a bunch of Swedish Directioners left nipple marks all over the windows of 1D's car. And dirty-minded Directioners like these gals better watch out; Liam Payne revealed that the band actually gets on Tumblr to read Directioners' raunchy fan fictions. He also reassured fans that he did not get Chlamydia from a koala.
Interestingly, Alan asks Louis and Zayn Malik about their relationships, but he doesn't quiz Liam about Danielle Peazer. Could this be more evidence that the couple is really over?
You can check out the entire interview below. The dance-off starts around the 13-minute mark.
