Real Housewives of Santa Barbara is the latest rumored addition to the Wives' franchise; and while Beverly Hills and Orange County have brough much success to Bravo, the network is not interested in adding another California town to the franchise.
After the rumors had surfaced, Bravo's blog site The Dish announced, "There is no Real Housewives of Santa Barbara show, and any rumors that you may have heard along those lines are simply that." The blog also added that Andy Cohen has previously stated that there will be no more towns added following Miami.
It's unfortunate that Andy isn't open to the idea of more ladies. While some of casts, such as New York, just don't seem to be working, he continues to try again and again. It may be more effective to just start over in a new town.
Hopefully, Andy will have a change of heart, but if not, fans will still be happy with the ladies they get to see every week including New Jersey, Atlanta, and Miami.
