When DWTS All Stars 2012 resumes October 8 on ABC, be ready for a glittering blast from past as the couples put their own unique spins on iconic dances from seasons past. So what do competition underdogs Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas have up their sleeves to rebound from a disappointing last-place finish on the week two leaderboard?
According to WetPaint, Monday night will be Paso Doble time for the second-time Dancing with the Stars partners as they recreate model Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough's groundbreaking futuristic routine. Mark explained that he chose the number because the Paso was Bristol's best dance during season 11. And it's absolutely the right style for the activist, who often has trouble with loosening up to the degree that judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman expect.
But can they do it justice? Sure, but it'll be tricky. They'll need to work hard to capture the otherworldly mood conveyed by Joanna and Derek's original version, but it's not something Bristol can't do if she has her game face in place and any nerves in check.
Will Bristol and Mark make a good impression or fall flat and find themselves in danger during the DWTS All Stars 2012 first double elimination on Tuesday? Tune in and find out.
