The Walking Dead season 3 has begun, and the premiere showed that Glenn and Maggie are as strong as ever—and checking each other over after fighting walkers. But will that last? In a zombie-infested world, is a relationship good or bad?
Walking Dead Season 3 Spoilers
Based on what Lauren Cohan had to say on the matter to TVGuide.com, it's the latter: "Glenn and Maggie will be challenged because the love that they have for each other definitely can be used against them at some point." And speaking of using people, executive producer Glen Mazzara teased, "The Governor definitely uses people against each other." Uh-oh, what will happen when the two groups meet? It doesn't sound like this can end well at all.
It's hard enough to start a relationship while fighting off walkers, but it's even worse when her father is pretty much always around. Glenn faced those problems last season, and while Hershel has warmed up to him, that doesn't mean it's any easier. Now with Hershel's bite and leg cut off—and the aftermath of that has yet to be revealed—things will get even more complicated. It's pretty easy to begin imagining just how how they feel about one another can be used against them at one point, especially by someone like the Governor, and you can't help but worry about what that means for their futures. Will both make it to the end of season 3? Since it's been fun to watch their relationship since the beginning (and the pharmacy sex), it's hard not to see how killing one of them off could be a major move by the show and a kickoff point for something big.
