Jill Zarin and three other Real Housewives of New York stars got the boot after the fourth season of the show and while many felt as though a change was necessary, the firings were a bit drastic. Now, Jill is speaking out about Bravo's decision to replace her and the other wives with a new group of women.
In addition to thinking her firing had to do with Andy Cohen's favoritism of her nemesis Bethenny Frankel, Jill has also noticed that the ratings have dropped drastically since she left, leading her to make a suggestion.
Jill states that the network "should bring back me, Alex and Kelly and fire Carole [Radziwill] and Heather [Thompson]." That is likely what should happen, but Bravo would certainly not want to look as if they don't know what they are doing, or admit that they made the wrong decision.
They may have thought that the new ladies would be a welcomed change but so many at once lead to plenty of viewers walking away from the show.
Jill later added, "Whoever was responsible for this disaster, should be fired." Ratings for the show's fifth season have dropped a whopping 21%. It will be interesting to see what producers do now!
