Jill Zarin was infamously fired from Real Housewives of New York following the show's fourth season and while she's been open with the fact that she wants her spot back, no one thought there was any chance of that happening. But now, it looks like there just might be.
After a highly rated and highly talked about episode of Watch What Happens Live on Monday night, producers are reportedly plotting a Jill return during Real Housewives of New York season 6.
"Jill's appearance solidified the likelihood that she will be featured on the sixth season," a source tells Radar Online. "Jill and Andy were even trending for a long time Monday night on Twitter. That is the kind of buzz that the network wants for the next season."
Jill had been with the show since the very beginning and when she left, there was a totally different dynamic. Even non-fans of Jill would have to admit that it just wasn't the same without her.
As for a possible return, Jill is reportedly open to it and is even willing to return as a guest star. "Viewers love to watch Jill tussle with Ramona Singer and LuAnn de Lesseps," the source adds. "There was nowhere near as much drama on the show this year, even with the addition of three new cast members."
It would certainly be interesting to see Jill Zarin to return to Real Housewives of New York. It would mark the first return of a booted wife and while it may seem like an unconventional approach, it may be just what the show needs. Plus, it could even start a trend, with other axed wives returning to other franchises as well!
