DWTS All Stars 2012 will turn up the heat on October 22 and 23 as the remaining couples Tango, Rumba and Waltz their way through Guilty Pleasures week. So what do smoldering French actor Gilles Marini and his equally hot pro partner Peta Murgatroyd have planned for what will likely be season 15's sexiest shows?
During the week four Dancing with the Stars results show, Gilles shared that he and Peta would dance a Rumba—the ballroom's most sensual style—to the tune of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" during week five.
And they're cooking up quite the visual spectacle, according to Gilles. He took to Twitter on October 17, teasing "Working on our #Rumba for next week on @DancingABC . My friends I have 1 word for you ! #Mesmerizing . @PetaMurgatroyd is genius !"
There's zero doubt that the attractive pair will bring it. They have near-impeccable ballroom chemistry and have turned in a string of excellent, clean performances to date. In fact, the only thing that could potentially cost Gilles and Peta votes is the actor's perfectionism, which borders on annoying and can make him seem egotistical at times.
However, a lack of originality could cost them fractions of points from the judging panel, if they're feeling finicky. Carrie Ann Inaba in particular has been hard on other contestants for being unoriginal, and while Gilles and Peta's routine should be beautiful, there's nothing creative about doing a Rumba to "I Will Always Love You". It's a very vanilla idea, and may not be well-received unless some seriously spectacular moves are incorporated.
So how will they do? Watch DWTS All Stars 2012 week five on both Monday and Tuesday nights to find out.
