Revenge season 2 continues next week with episode 6, "Illusion," which will see Victoria and Conrad get married again, but of course something has to go wrong at the event.
Season 2 Episode 6 "Illusion" Promo
"The ties that bind Victoria and Conrad are tested as they reaffirm their loyalties and commitment to each other. Meanwhile the all-too-knowing Mason Treadwell digs deeper as Emily and Amanda struggle to keep their pasts a secret."
Oh, Mason Treadwell, you're a smart one. At the end of "Forgiveness," he told Amanda that he knew she wasn't Amanda Clarke after he saw she didn't have a scar she should have. He also left a file behind. What is in that folder? Should Emily seriously worry about Mason? He's not going to just go away now. He wants the story, but what story will he end up getting with everything that's coming up? Meanwhile, Conrad was the one who proposed marriage to Victoria again at the end of episode 5. They'll be legally bound and unable to testify against one another. But will that even matter with what's coming up?
The Revenge season 2 episode 6 promo for "Illusion" (below) poses the question: Is it time for "the beginning of the end"? While there are some calmer moments—Victoria walking down the aisle, Victoria and Conrad dancing—things aren't going to stay that way for long. There's an investigation going on, and Conrad is going to be arrested. When Victoria asks what he's done, he counters with "What have you done?" What exactly is going on? What did Conrad promise "them"?
The promo shows that Daniel and Emily are going to be dancing (and you have to wonder what that means for their relationship, given their history and their present conversations), but as photos like the one below show, Aiden and Ashley will also be dancing pretty close. What's going on there? There have been a couple of theories online about that; will "Illusion" prove any of them true?
What do you think of the Revenge season 2 episode 6 preview of "Illusion"?
