America's Next Top Model College Edition is starting to wind down and one of the girls has decided to focus all her hatred on the one girl who returned: Leila. Yeah, sure, Kristin complained last week too, but this time she just can not keep quiet about how "stupid" she claims Leila is. Laura too doesn't care for Leila, but at least she recognizes why: Leila is her biggest competition. In fact, she's everyone's biggest competition.
ANTM swimming with the dolphins
In the first challenge of the night, the girls wear swimwear by Cedella Marley -- daughter of Bob Marley -- and then take two different photos: one posing with the dolphin, the second with dolphins pushing them into the air out of the water. Most look much too sexy for this high fashion photo shoot, but Kristin just stands there and looks like a tourist. It's Leila, no surprise, who gets slapped by a dolphin and still manages to pull off a beautiful shot. She wins a House of Marley prize pack, as well as a spa day.
But Leila is just getting started... and so is Kristin.
America's Next Top Model Jamaican waterfall photo shoot
The photo shoot is one of the most challenging and dangerous the finalists have ever faced. They're tasked with not slipping while standing in the raging waterfall, and creating a beautiful piece of artwork with their photo. Tyra Banks is also their photographer, and she wants to hang one of their photos in her salon.
So who wins? Well, Leila gets top photo for her "wood" theme, and she deserves it. She's modeling from the inside out. Kelly Cutrone says its more than editorial, it's one of the best this season.
Yet, it was Kiara's photo that Tyra Banks chose as the runner up and as the photo to hang in her home. Her "metal" photo shoot is stunning, and she's clearly a beautiful warrior princess. Tyra Banks thinks this is her money shot: prideful, aloof, and dangerous.
Next comes Nastasia, modeling "pipes." She's lovely with beautiful body language -- but can she push it even more to make it to the top?
That leaves the bottom two, the haters: Kristin and Laura.
But before that elimination and before any of the girls' photos got called, Kristin had a few things to say. Kiara and Leila had been excited about their good scores, and Kristin thought their excitement was disrespectful since others worried about their own photos. But she doesn't show that "respect" she demands to Leila, saying -- once again -- that Leila's stupid. Seriously. Kristin needed to realize that her lashing out has just made her look bad all season. She should have focused that energy more on herself. But she didn't.
That's why it's no surprise that between Laura and Kristin, it's Kristin who goes home. Laura may have been a bit tense in her photo shoot and wasn't working her angles enough, but Kristin was too awkward and not modeling H2T, again.
Kristin gets sent packing, finally. But of course she can't walk away without getting one last word in. In her farewell voiceover, she says, "I'm not upset about leaving... I don't like any of these girls. I think they are all fake, and I don't think I've made a genuine friend since I've been here. I don't give a s*** about any of those girls now so they can do whatever they want and I don't have to worry about interacting with them." Yeah, somebody still clearly needs to work on that anger.
America's Next Top Model Cycle 19 has only two episodes left before the College Edition winner is revealed.
