One Direction--comprised of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik--will meet up with their boy band rivals The Wanted in New York City next week at the Z100 Jingle Ball. Will their current Twitter feud come into play?
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Max George of The Wanted--which also includes Nathan Sykes, Tom Parker, Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran--spoke this week in Detroit, saying he doesn't fear a meeting with the What Makes You Beautiful singers. The feud is fairly exclusive to George and 1D's Zayn Malik, but talk of a physical tussle has crept into their war of words, and some are becoming a bit concerned.
"I'm not sure what his problem is to be honest," Max said during an interview with Radio 955. "It started off that I thought we were just having a bit of banter, but he seemed to get a bit serious."
The feud started months ago over which boy band is the most successful, but in recent weeks Zayn Malik has taken it to a new level--a rather immature one, to be exact.
"I tried to palm it off as being friendly again, but you can only take so many insults and eventually I just said, "Alright listen - if you've got a problem, come and see me in New York when we're there doing a gig together and we'll sort it out."' George says.
Have you followed any of this silly Twitter war between Max George and Zayn Malik? Do you think it's only a matter of time before 1D management steps in and tells Zayn to shut up? Both One Direction and The Wanted will appear live at the Z100 Jingle Ball in New York City next week. Might there be a physical or rude verbal altercation between the Glad You Came singers and the Live While We're Young boys?
