Supernatural season 8 is going to be bringing back a character from last season in one of the episodes when it returns in 2013, and there are now more details out about what to expect in "LARP and the Real Girl."
That's the episode that will feature Felicia Day's return. She first appeared last season in "The Girl With the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo" as Charlie Bradbury, and Jeremy Carver has given TVLine some details about her return: "That is our live-action role-playing episode. We will discover that young Charlie Bradbury, in running from her past life, has found herself a new life in a new community. Basically, [she] has fallen into the welcoming arms of a community of LARPers." When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) last saw her, she was boarding a bus and had commented that she had disappeared before. Will she have to run yet again by the time this episode is over, or will they leave her still with that community? There is always the possibility that she doesn't survive "LARP and the Real Girl" (as happens often with recurring characters, especially females, on this show), but hopefully she is around to return.
Then there's the question of how Sam and Dean's relationship will be by the time this Supernatural season 8 episode comes around. The midseason finale ended with them apart and Sam angry when he found out what Dean did. The preview for the January return showed that he wasn't happy to find Dean on the other side of his motel room door. But will they be on better terms by "LARP and the Real Girl"? Hopefully they are.
