50 Shades of Grey movie casting options were abundant last year, with every cute brunette actress getting the once-over from Fifty fans searching for their ideal Anastasia Steele.
Actresses like Felicity Jones and Lucy Hale weren't afraid to openly talk about their interest in the role, but some celebs might have been a bit sneakier about showing 50 Shades some love—they used their wild sense of style to pay homage to bondage.
Starpulse has compiled a list of actresses who have sported outfits that seem to reference 50 Shades, and a few of them might actually be able to pull off playing the book's BDSM-curious heroine. Anne Hathaway's name immediately got connected to the 50 Shades of Grey movie when she donned a pair of dominatrix-style shoes and flashed her lady parts, but perhaps she's not the best Ana option that made the list.
Instead Krysten Ritter might be the best gal for the job of getting flogged by Christian Grey. Sure she might be a decade older than 21-year-old Anastasia Steele, but that isn't stopping fans from suggesting Alexis Bledel for the role. Alexis is the same age as her former Gilmore Girls costar.
Krysten Ritter has a gorgeous face, and she can look both sexy and sweet. She's also proved that she has the sassiness needed to play Ana—her Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 character is bold and very adventurous (especially when it comes to sex). Krysten hinted that she's not afraid of a little bondage by wearing a black dress with a buckle-covered chest harness that looks like something that Christian Grey would keep in his Red Room of Pain. It's just a shame that Krysten's costar James Van Der Beek is too old to play Christian Grey.
But here's a fun fact for Fifty fans—Krysten starred alongside Christian Grey favorite Ian Somerhalder in the 2010 movie How to Make Love to a Woman. So perhaps they could reunite for the 50 Shades movie.
So what do you think—should Krysten be Ian Somerhalder's Ana, or do you think her fellow bondage-loving actress Anne Hathaway would be better suited for the role?
