Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev of The Vampire Diaries can be seen alongside Paul Wesley and other cast members in hot new photos. Anticipation is building among fans that are eager to see new episodes of TVD but for now pictures will have to do.

These photos were released just as Somerhalder and Dobrev returned from their romantic Asian vaycay. The promo shots were taken by CW to promote, of course, their sizzling hit show.

Somerhalder, Dobrev and Wesley aren't the only stars being featured in these promos. Several cast members were also snapped too. This, of course, makes you wonder if these cast members, which include Claire Holt and Torrey DeVitto, will play larger roles once The Vampire Diaries returns. Whether or not they do is up in the air but fans can be sure their beloved Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev will remain the main focus of TVD with Paul Wesley too, of course.
