'The Bold and the Beautiful': Hope Vows to Take Liam Back

On yesterday's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Liam was about to leave his father's place when Bill picked up the necklace Liam left behind and stabbed himself in the chest with the miniature sword. Liam turned around just in time to witness the event. Liam couldn't believe Bill had just stabbed himself. Liam wondered if Bill was okay and Bill claimed the pain he was feeling from the stab wound was nothing compared to what he felt when Liam stated he wanted nothing to do with him. Bill continued talking up the blood bond he and Liam share and said his only crime was loving Liam. Bill had tried to protect Liam out of that love and he knew he had made some lousy choices. He admitted he may have inherited some of his father's characteristics.

He tells his son despite all that he needs him. He would never be the same if Liam walked out of his life. Liam reminded his father that it was Hope who made it possible for him and Bill to be together. Bill still maintained that Liam was in a better place right now than he was in Italy. All Bill wanted was another chance to prove he could be a better father and if Liam walked away, he wouldn't have that chance. Liam finally put the necklace back on and the two men hugged. Bill advised his son not to return to Hope and Liam couldn't believe what he was hearing. Bill was still gasping from the stab wound. Later, Bill got a visit from his friendly jeweler who just happens to make house calls. Because of all that had happened, Bill wanted to pick up Katie a little something. Twenty-three carats later, Bill had purchased a necklace. The jeweler wondered if he should contact Bill's assistant for payment, but Bill had the cash on him. He removed a wad of bills from underneath his shirt and paid the guy. It's no wonder that sword came out of Bill's chest without a drop of blood on it. You've got to love this guy.

Back at Liam and Steffy's place, Hope and Steffy continue their conversation. Hope told Steffy she had to tell Liam what Bill did. Hope also mentioned wanting to take the life she should have had back. Steffy was glad the truth came out but she didn't like that Liam was off confronting Bill. Hope maintained that Liam deserved to know the truth. Hope claimed she and Liam would be married now if it weren't for Rick and Bill. Steffy pointed out that if Hope truly had faith in Liam, nothing would have been able to break them up. Hope told Steffy she would simply have to wait and see what happens. Steffy reminded Hope about all those impossible standards she created for Liam. She asked if Hope will still want Liam next week when he can't live up to her high morals. Hope is realistic and admits she made her share of mistakes. Hope insisted things had changed. Steffy knew there was some connection between Liam and Hope, but she was quick to point out they never got it right. She told Hope she couldn't just walk into the home she and Liam shared and tear everything up. She advised Hope to get on with her life. Hope left and Steffy seemed concerned.

Liam arrived home and Steffy told him she had a feeling Bill was up to something in Italy, but she couldn't figure it out. Liam vented about his father's control issues. He tells Steffy about Bill stabbing himself. They chat about Bill's crazed move and hug each other. Steffy mentioned finding Hope in the house when she came home. She told Liam that Hope believed everything had changed for her. Liam told Steffy nothing could erase what they have shared. Steffy tells him about her phone call from Ridge. She told Liam she was flying to Paris tomorrow to see her father. She figured it might be important and Liam agreed she should go. She also told Liam she didn't need him to tell her he loved her and she didn't need him to say he would miss her. Liam wondered what she did need and the next thing you know, they are making love. Back at Forrester Creations, Hope flashes back to the good times she shared with Liam in Italy.

On today's episode, Hope whines to Rick about Steffy and Liam being closer than they ever were. Eric gears up for the fashion challenge at Forrester and claims the top priority of the day is to pick a new CEO. It will be either Rick or Thomas. It's strange how there hasn't been much activity in terms of preparations, but somehow, the teams will pull it off. One can only hope that Hope sheds those hideous pants she's been wearing all week. Speaking of Hope, she tells Liam she intends to 'take' him back and then says, "Consider yourself won!" Man, her confidence and cocky attitude are wearing to say the least. Will Liam bite?
