50 Shades of Grey movie casting buzz used to revolve mainly around which actor should be cast as Christian Grey, but more and more actresses are shifting the conversation toward talk about who should play Anastasia Steele.
Celebs who have talked about playing Ana include Krysten Ritter, Felicity Jones, Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, and Alexandra Daddario. The latest lady to join this list might not be everyone's idea of an ideal Ana, but at least she looks great in lingerie.
America's Next Top Model alum Analeigh Tipton is the latest actress to say that she's definitely interested in starring in the 50 Shades of Grey movie. The sweet starlet recently told PopSugar that she thinks that it's "pretty neat" that her fans are campaigning for her to win the role of Anastasia Steele and that she'd like to see how "bold" she can get. She also said of playing Ana, "It's a role that seems pretty brave. That kind of piques my interest."
Analeigh Tipton has proved that she knows how to make things happen in her life—it probably wasn't easy to turn a third place finish on a reality show competition into an acting career, but she managed to score a few movie and TV roles and even starred alongside Christian Grey favorite Ryan Gosling in Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Analeigh's star could be on the rise since she won a role in the upcoming zombie rom-com Warm Bodies, but so far she's just been getting small supporting roles in movies. Being brave and bold by playing Ana in 50 Shades would turn her into a leading lady and lead to even more amazing acting opportunities.
After surviving zombies in Warm Bodies, Analeigh should be able to hold her own in Christian's Red Room of Pain, and it sounds like she learned a bit about turning a sexual relationship into a more meaningful one while working on the upcoming movie Two-Night Stand. It's about two people who are forced to get to know each other better when they're snowed in together during a one-night stand.
So is the America's Next Top Model star your top choice to play Ana?
