Felicia Day first appeared last season as Charlie when Sam and Dean were going after Dick Roman, and she just returned in Supernatural season 8 for a fun episode. She proved then she could hold her own in that episode, "LARP and the Real Girl," and she'll be back for more.
According to TVLine, when Day returns as Charlie again, "she will bring a case to the brothers, during the latter part of Season 8." At the end of "LARP and the Real Girl," she did say that she was going to face reality, which includes monsters. So how will that affect her? What is she going to be up to in the meantime? And will she have to move on again after the latest hunt? Although she clearly fit into the LARPing world, it doesn't seem likely she'll still be doing that when she brings the case to them. So far, she has survived two encounters with the Winchesters, something that's not that common—especially for female characters on the show. It probably helps that she has no interest whatsoever in either of them romantically, which has made it entertaining to watch her relationship with them, especially Dean, play out. Hopefully she keeps on surviving because more Charlie can only be a good thing.
Are you looking forward to more Felicia Day in Supernatural season 8?
