'50 Shades of Grey' Movie: Could Jason Momoa Beat Out Ian and Matt?

50 Shades of Grey movie casting talk needs to be shaken up a little now that so much focus is on the same ol' boring favorites again—how much more can Fifty fans stand to hear about Ian Somerhalder's sexy smirk or Matt Bomer's buff bod?

Luckily for bored fans of E. L. James' erotic novel, another hunk recently said something sexy and straightforward that sounds like a comment that could come from the lips of a sex fiend like Christian Grey. According to The Stir, Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa was recently asked by TMZ how he stays in such great shape. The actor responded by simply saying this: "I f**k a lot."

So maybe Jason also has a Red Room of Pain full of sex machines instead of a home gym. Lisa Bonet is a lucky lady.

The beefy actor could probably intimidate competition like Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer because he's such a big dude, but he might have a harder time beating out Henry Cavill—Henry had to get pretty bulky himself to play Superman in Man of Steel. There's no word on if he also used sex to build his bod of steel.

Even though Henry Cavill's buff body is impressive, Jason Momoa is still more physically imposing than the three Christian Grey favorites. His physical presence is probably why he gets cast as brawny, barbaric characters like Conan the Barbarian and Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones.

Speaking of Game of Thrones, another star from that HBO series is a 50 Shades of Grey movie favorite—Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the show, is a fan favorite for the role of Anastasia Steele. Emilia and Jason played husband and wife, so they have a little experience shooting sex scenes together.

Jason might be easy on the eyes (he looks like he belongs on the cover of an erotic novel), but there's a reason he keeps getting cast as rough and tough characters. He might not have what it takes to play a character that is both carnal and cultured like Christian Grey. Christian might like to "f**k a lot" too, but he's also a smart businessman who knows his fine wines and classical music. So could Jason play a character that is so refined? Maybe he'd like to try to prove that he can.
