'50 Shades of Grey' Movie: Rooney Mara Ready to...

The 50 Shades of Grey movie casting contest has been shaken up once again. So is there room for another actress in the Anastasia Steele casting race?

th and getting rid of her eyebrows. Rooney's already played a character that has donned nipple piercings, so Christian Grey's nipple clamps and the other torture devices in his Red Room of Pain shouldn't scare her away from playing his reluctant sex slave.

However, maybe a comment Rooney made is being read into a little too much. According to Entertainmentwise, here's what she told The Daily Beast about the type of roles she likes to pursue:

"I'm interested in the duality of people. I have a lot of darkness and frenetic energy inside myself, so it's easier for me to portray people with shades of grey."

Anastasia Steele is kind of complicated since she has an inner goddess that's almost like a split personality, and she can't decide whether being whipped and bound is worth it when she discovers that Christian Grey is all about BDSM.

The 50 Shades of Grey movie will probably call for at least a few nude scenes, and Rooney has plenty of experience in this area. She also has large eyes like Ana and could probably pull off playing a 21-year-old.

However, if Rooney really is interested in 50 Shades, she'll have to beat out a bunch of other brunette beauties. Fifty Fans' favorites include Emilia Clarke, Alexis Bledel, Alexandra Daddario, Felicity Jones, and Lucy Hale. So do you think that Rooney would make a better Ana than these actresses?
