'50 Shades of Grey' Movie: Sexy New 'Trailer' Stars Ian Somerhalder and Alexis Bledel

50 Shades of Grey movie favorite Ian Somerhalder should be thrilled that he's continuing to get the support of Christian Grey fans who enjoy turning clips from The Vampire Diaries into 50 Shades movie trailers, but Nina Dobrev might be just a tad tired of seeing her man paired up with Alexis Bledel over and over again.

There are quite a few fan-made trailers that feature Ian and Alexis as Christian and Ana, and sometimes poor Nina Dobrev gets to stand in for Alexis when sexy clips of makeout sessions from The Vampire Diaries are used. The latest fan-made trailer getting buzz features a lot of spit-swapping, as well as a little bedtime snuggling, elevator love, light S&M, and steamy shirtless scenes.

This 50 Shades of Grey movie trailer discovered by Fashion & Style was created by YouTube user XOfficialJenna and features the song "Sex on Fire" by Kings of Leon.

Unfortunately fans seem to be a little short on footage of Alexis Bledel to use for Anastasia Steele's scenes—a lot of the trailers feature the same scenes from Gilmore Girls. Clips of Alexis graduating, looking clumsy and flustered, and gazing longingly at an unseen love are extremely popular in these videos. Fans probably have an easier time finding fresh clips of Ian Somerhalder to use since The Vampire Diaries is still on the air.

However, they've got to be tired of watching fan-made videos that recycle the same footage—they're ready for the real deal! Ian's been making anticipation build by talking about his desire to star in the 50 Shades movie, and there's new speculation about who will be cast as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele every day. The longer the wait, the more competition that Alexis and Ian get—they don't just have Matt Bomer and Emilia Clarke to contend with anymore. Recent stars being mentioned as options for the movie include Ed Westwick, Bella Heathcote, Emma Roberts, and Chace Crawford.

So while all the fake trailers might start to get a little tiresome, perhaps fans of Alexis and Ian need to keep churning them out to remind the 50 Shades filmmakers who the true favorites are—they might actually manage to influence who gets cast as the characters that they love and care about so much.
