Many parents continue to wonder who gets naked in Spring Breakers, but maybe a better question is "who doesn't get naked?". Another good question, is the film even worth going to see? According to a review article from ScreenIt.com, the film wasn't the best in terms of art, as it seemed more like something that a "pretentious film student has made to impress his professor—and to get as many college girls as possible to take their tops off for". That said, there's no Vanessa Hudgens or Selena Gomez nude scenes that have been reported. The two engaged in plenty of scandalous Spring break mayhem though.
Also, there are plenty of other nude and sex-crazed females in the film, showing just how crazy Spring break can get, serving as a nice PSA for parents considering Cancun or Ft. Lauderdale for their college kids' big trip. If that's not enough, toss in James Franco playing a character named "Alien" who wants to make the four main girls into his drug helping harem. That gives the film plenty of vulgarity, profanity, violence, nudity and drug-related themes for parents to worry about their kids witnessing on the big screen.
So while this won't be the first-official movie where Vanessa or Selena go topless, showing skin, it is certainly a departure from their typical Disney "good girl" roles. While the one site mentioned above provides parents with plenty of insight into the plot and "bad stuff" included, so far the movie has garnered a 70% rating on Rotten Tomatoes "Tomatometer", and is currently edging out the other new film "Olympus Has Fallen". So adults who want to see the film may want to go check it out if it really has them curious.
